I want to be able to remember this trip and make sure that I don't forget the little things that made it great. of course, there's no way I will be able to remember everything, even if I were to try and write them down literally as they happened. Too many things slip through the cracks. However, I felt that if I could just write something once a day, short or long, basically whatever I could get down, I would at least have something remarkable and interesting from every day of the trip - something I could always go back to.
Second of all, I wanted to keep all my friends and family in the loop, but that's really difficult to do when you can't really use your phone and internet connection isn't always available. Also, trying to tell everybody what's going on would probably take forever and I would probably miss people, so this way everyone who wants to hear about my trip can hear about it, and everyone who doesn't can just ignore it (rather than telling me to bugger off).
That's it - shouldn't be that difficult right? Well, it might be, considering that even as I write this post I'm already on a time limit - I have a bus ride to Paris to catch in 2 hours. Anyway, I'll probably be writing on the run most of the time, so that will just make it more fun, right? Right?
And if I have to, I'll skip days But only if I really need to.
